Ontario's Digital Economy - Expert Speaker

In this presentation about OneCommunity participants will learn about that about OneCommunity' "Third Way". The dominant modes of developing the broadband economy follow either government OR industry-led approaches to building the broadband economy. OneCommunity is a hybrid model that mediates industry and public sector investments through a non-profit-centric model. Participants will be in a position to evaluate the relevance of this model to the ODEC agenda as they learn about OneCommunity's relative success of creating a community-ownership model to accelerate connectivity (access) AND to support community priorities (especially, education, health, and 21st century workforce development).
